Ron O’Connor

My name is Ron O’Connor and this is my seventh year as St. Theresa’s Physical Education Instructor.  I truly feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful school full of great kids and an awesome caring staff.  I have a passion for teaching and enjoy working with the students and staff at St. Theresa.  What a great place to be!

My wife Kathy and I are both from NW Iowa and have been married for 37 years. We have two grown children.  Being married and raising our kids has been my greatest joys.

My journey in education began at the University of South Dakota where I earned a Bachelor degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation.   I began my teaching/coaching career at PCM Schools in Monroe and retired from PCM.  

Summers you can find me teaching  Driver’s Education and umpiring varsity softball.

Kathy and I stay active working out at the YMCA, traveling, and riding bikes during our free time.
