Sarah Mohrfeld
I attended Saint Theresa School K-8, and when the opportunity to teach here was available I applied at once. The sense of family and belonging surrounding this school fills me with peace, joy, and comfort every day. I love the school, the staff I work with, and the families and students who touch my life each year.
I grew up in West Des Moines, IA and attended St. Theresa’s and then Dowling Catholic High School. I then went to St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA to major in Early Childhood Education. I also got the opportunity to play basketball on the women’s team and juggling a full class load, practicum hours, work study, and practice and games taught me how to make the most of every day! I like to think I’m still in good shape and get out to play basketball, volleyball, softball, or just chase my kids around. I also love reading and baking when time allows. I am slowly increasing my knitting skills as well.
