I enjoy teaching at STCS because of the opportunity I have to work with students in a faith centered environment. My Catholic faith directs my life, and effects my music choices for concerts and what I focus on in classes. I love the support STCS gives to the arts, such as a dedicated music room and a band room.

I am a Des Moines native, through and through, and went to grade school, here, at Saint Theresa and high school at Dowling. I went to college at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, to study music education and graduated in 2011. Since then I have been teaching at Saint Theresa as a band instructor, but I eventually took over general and vocal music as well.

Band Goal: To learn more about music, and to learn how to work with others through instrumental music.
