As part of the 75th Anniversary celebration, we have designated a parish service project of having a Random of Act of Kindness Day (February 17). This includes the Parish, School, and Faith Formation. It also ties in well with St. Theresa’s message and our motto, “Do all that you do with love.”
We are having a reverse collection during Masses this weekend of February 15/16. The reverse collection will consist of slips which contain SUGGESTIONS of what you might want to do as an act of kindness. This is in no way what you have to do – we urge you to get creative and come up with your own Act of Kindness.
It doesn’t have to cost you anymore than some love and kindness. You will get more out of performing an Act of Kindness than what you do- a win, win, situation.
We would love to share all of the acts of kindness with our parish and school community. Please email Emily Melcher, emelcher1@stsdsm.com, what you chose as an act of service and a picture if you like. We will publish all the types of service without names to our parish community.
So, let’s go St. Theresa – let’s make Monday, February 17 a day to remember at St. Theresa for all the kindness extended to others!!!
