Cor Meetings
Monthly:
Cor exists to refocus Catholic men on Jesus Christ and to form and strengthen them in faith and virtue through a brotherhood committed to prayer, formation, and fraternity. Cor meetings are held monthly in the parish hall and are open to all men of the parish including men who are not knights.
Heart of the Gospel Retreat
Saturday, 02/20/2027:
Experience the life‑changing power of the Gospel proclaimed in an engaging and inspiring way. This free, video‑based retreat is open to any man in the parish. Through powerful teachings from Fr. John Riccardo, the retreat leads men through the heart of the Gospel and invites them to more fully embrace Christ’s mission.
Heart of the Gospel reveals Jesus as the compassionate healer and mighty warrior who confronts sin, Satan, and death itself to rescue the one He loves: YOU.
Who We Are
Council 5389 is part of the worldwide Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization committed to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. At St. Theresa, our Knights serve the parish and community through prayer, handson service, and faithfilled leadership.
Our Mission
Our mission is to strengthen St. Theresa Parish through prayer, service, and support for families, the vulnerable, and those in need.
Our Four Pillars of Service
Faith – Council members contribute many hours each year to parish life through church maintenance, groundskeeping, liturgical ministries, livestreaming, and service on parish committees. The council also has a long tradition of generously supporting diocesan seminarians both financially and spiritually.
Family – The Knights support familycentered initiatives such as Food for Families, family formation programs, and family prayer events. Each month, a parish family is recognized for their contributions to St. Theresa by being named Family of the Month.
Community – The council assists with community outreach including Coats for Kids, programs for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities (the “Tootsie Roll Drive”), youth activities, and the annual fall cleanup drive, where Knights coordinate teams, captains, and logistics.
Life – Council members support cultureoflife initiatives such as Special Olympics, pregnancy support ministries, ultrasound machine purchases, and other lifeaffirming activities.
Fundraising and Parish Support
Through the generosity of the parish and the dedication of our members, Council 5389 provides material financial support for its Faith, Family, Community, and Life programs.
Our largest fundraiser is the Lenten Fish Fry, known for excellent food and strong community turnout. The council also raises funds through the annual Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities (“Tootsie Roll Drive”) and parish pancake breakfasts that support parish improvements and school needs.

Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
Rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by our Business Meeting
