St. Theresa Parish thanks the St. Joseph Evangelization Center for its FIRE Grant, Funding Initiative for Renewal and Evangelization. Their generous gift of $3,000.00 enables our children to build on their knowledge and relationship with God from Level 1 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) through Level 2, i.e. grades 1-3. Level 2 participants will learn about the History of the Kingdom of God and their place in it; Books of the Bible, their themes & how to find scripture passages; greater understanding of the Mass; and morality as taught by Jesus’ parables and maxims. Level 2 CGS supports preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation & Holy Eucharist and many more aspects of faith and relationship with God. Watch for our open house this fall!

St. Theresa Parish livestream viewers will soon have an enhanced experience of Mass and related services thanks to the Catholic Foundation of Southwest Iowa’s grant of $2,199.00. The grant is earmarked for an additional camera that allows a broader view of the church and increased sound filtering to improve sound quality. Homebound and out-of-town viewers will be able to feel more present with those in the church, more part of St. Theresa’s Community. Installation date to be determined.
