STARS Mission
Unite all the women of St. Theresa’s Parish through prayer, faith enhancement, hospitality and service. As stewards of God’s love, we strive to share our gifts and talents for the service of God and all His people.
STARS has many ways to share such as: serving funeral dinners, Easter Vigil reception, and other celebrations, hosting the annual Christmas Bazaar the first Saturday in December, making prayer blankets and sacramental boxes, sponsoring social events.
STARS welcomes all women of the parish, and encourages women to get involved in service, hospitality or prayer.

Church Ladies Coffee – 1st Saturday of the Month
Provides an opportunity for the women of the parish to pop in and catch up with everything that is happening in our community. The exchange of experience and understanding of our members provides the support and understanding we all need time to time.
Get Acquainted Gatherings – As occasions arise we host special events to celebrate the women of our parish such as Chocolate Lovers Breakfast and Fall Salad Supper.
Easter Vigil Reception – In celebration of Easter and to welcome the newest members to our faith we decorate the hall and prepare appetizers and desserts for a reception held after the Easter Vigil Mass.
Annual Christmas Tea – 2nd Saturday of December – During Advent we host an Advent Reflection and Christmas Tea for the women and daughters of the parish. We ask individuals to decorate a table, resulting in a variety of holiday tables.
Prayer & Enhancement
Faith & Enhancement – 2nd Thursday of the Month – Once a month we gather to pray a rosary for the parish and submitted prayer request.
Holy Hour Rosary – Rosary lead during Holy Hour once a month
Service
Funeral Dinners – Members help prepare and serve a light meal for family & friends
Alter Clothes/Vestments Laundry
Baptismal Boxes are put together for the sacrament of baptism
Marian Garden – Members maintain a flower garden in front the holy family statue in the mediation area at the west entrance
Fundraising
Annual Christmas Bazaar & Bake Sale – 1st Saturday of December – On the first Saturday of December we sponsor an Annual Bazaar and Bake Sale. Funds are used throughout the year for parish needs.
