Billie Collins

Hi!  My name is Billie Collins and this is my fourth year here at St. Theresa.  This is my second year as Food Service Director.  Before coming here in the fall of 2020, I was an In-home daycare provider for 10 years. 

My husband Shane and I have been married for 16 years and have two wonderful daughters, Rowan who attends Dowling and Fiona who attends St. Theresa.  I grew up in Carlisle, Iowa, attending public school.  My husband grew up in Des Moines and attended St. Theresa and then Dowling.  When we married and had our girls we chose to send them to St. Theresa and it has been one of the best decisions we have made!

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, our dog Freya, watching our oldest Rowan play soccer and Fiona play softball, traveling, cooking, shopping, watching scary movies, listening to live music and keeping my indoor plants alive!

I feel very blessed to be part of St. Theresa.  I love being around children and making food that they enjoy.  Sometimes lunch is the best part of their day!  My job is mostly fun, my employees are great, and I enjoy working with such caring and faithful staff!
